City of Bethlehem Bethlehem is a city of 75,000 people in eastern Pennsylvania-a city known for its rich colonial and industrial history. Bethlehem lies in both Northampton and Lehigh Counties and is part of the greater Lehigh Valley region.

St. Luke’s University Health Network St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) is a non-profit, regional, fully integrated, nationally recognized Network providing services at more than 200 sites, primarily in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Schuylkill, Bucks, Montgomery, Berks and Monroe counties in Pennsylvania and in Warren County, New Jersey. SLUHN provided the funding for Bike Bethlehem.

Cutters Bike Shop, located in South Bethlehem, is rider owned and operated by a family of cyclists who provide expert knowledge and experience for all levels of riders.

The Bethlehem Area Public Library provides library services at two locations (and a bookmobile) to the City of Bethlehem, Bethlehem Township, Fountain Hill and Hanover Township.

Founded in 1876, the Appalachian Mountain Club promotes the protection, enjoyment, and understanding of the mountains, forests, waters, and trails of America’s Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. The Delaware Valley Chapter of the AMC provides hundreds of volunteer-led outdoor activities every year, including hiking, backpacking, cycling, paddling, and skiing trips for every skill level, here in the Lehigh Valley and throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The Coalition for Appropriate Transportation (CAT) has been a Lehigh Valley education and advocacy resource for over 20 years. CAT improves mobility, celebrates our community and the environment, through education about safe pedestrian access, bicycling, public transportation, trail systems, and ride sharing.

Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (D &L) is dedicated to preserving the historic pathway that carried coal and iron from Wilkes-Barre to Philadelphia. Today, the 165-mile D&L Trail connects people to nature, culture, communities, recreation and our industrial heritage from the mountains of northeast Pennsylvania, through the Lehigh Valley and Bucks County. The D&L is one of America’s 49 National Heritage Areas.
